You are worth it!
When life presents difficulties pertaining to interpersonal relationships its important to have someone in your corner that supports you emotionally, and to provide hope and a safe space to navigate transformations that are awaiting in the horizon. I specialize helping folks that are going through breakups, divorce, and/or those struggling with toxic relationships at work or home.
My practice focuses on developing therapeutic trust fostered by compassion and unconditional positive regard tailored to meet your needs. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. I carefully challenge, encourage, and guide you in navigating through difficulties related to your interpersonal relationships.
-What to expect-
At this time I'm offering either virtual or phone sessions on evenings and weekends. My virtual platform is HIPPA compliant and my hours of operation are convenient for busy professionals that cannot take time away from their traditional work schedules. Please email me to coordinate weekend availability, otherwise, you may select a day/time in the client portal to schedule. I'm happy to schedule a free 15 minute consultation prior to booking.
At this time I am only able to accept private pay. I'm not able to accept insurance because it takes away from client time. I work for a non-profit during the day and there are simply not enough hours in the day to take on administrative tasks required to accept insurance. Additionally, accepting insurance offers less confidentiality (how could this be?), it's because insurance companies require your diagnosis and treatment notes in order to process payment. This undermines the basic premise of therapy and gives a lot more people access to your private health information.
I run a paperless practice so all forms are signed electronically in your client portal. Card payments are made through the client portal. This makes payment very convenient and we don’t have to spend time during session sorting out payment. My fee of $155 is due before or at the beginning of our session.
I'm a Northern California transplant that migrated to the Pacific Northwest in search for new scenery and new adventures. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Oregon. I continued my journey further north and earned a Master of Social Work at the University of Washington (a Duck and a Huskie, imagine that).
My work experience includes 12 years with non-profits, government, and private sectors. Over the years I have found working individually with folks is where my strengths align the most and I'm grateful to serve the community.
